Kenya Signal Room values accuracy and accountability. When credible correction requests are received, we review them and take appropriate editorial action.
1. What Can Be Corrected?
- Incorrect names, titles, dates, figures or locations.
- Misattributed statements or quotes.
- Missing context that materially affects understanding.
- Outdated information in a developing story.
- Images, captions or descriptions that are incorrect.
2. What We May Do
Depending on the issue, we may correct, clarify, update, add context, remove content or publish a note explaining the change.
3. How to Request a Correction
Send us the article title or link, explain the issue clearly, and provide supporting evidence where possible. Use the official details on our Contact page.
4. Review Process
We review correction requests as soon as practical. Complex requests may take longer, especially where verification or right of reply is required.
5. Abuse of Corrections Process
We may decline requests that are abusive, misleading, unsupported, malicious or intended to suppress legitimate public-interest reporting.
